FictionVerse Author Publishing Agreement Version 1.0 · Effective June 2026
1. Definitions
"Platform" means FictionVerse (fiction.aichatmail.one). "Author" means the individual registering this account. "Work" means any novel, story, chapter, or content submitted by Author to the Platform.
2. Original Work Warranty
Author warrants and represents that:
(a) All Works submitted are Author's own original creation;
(b) Author holds full copyright and all necessary rights to publish the Work;
(c) The Work does not infringe upon any third party's intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, trade secret, or moral rights;
(d) The Work is not a translation, adaptation, or derivative of another's work without explicit written permission;
(e) The Work has not been plagiarized in whole or in part from any source.
3. Prohibited Content
Author shall not submit any Work containing:
(a) Pornography, obscene material, or sexually explicit content;
(b) Depictions of gambling, illegal drug use, or criminal activity glorification;
(c) Graphic violence, torture, or content promoting self-harm or suicide;
(d) Racial discrimination, hate speech, or content targeting any ethnicity, religion, gender, or sexual orientation;
(e) Political separatism, content advocating the division of any sovereign state, or material undermining national unity and territorial integrity;
(f) Content that is anti-humanity, promoting genocide, terrorism, or crimes against humanity;
(g) Personal attacks, doxxing, harassment, or invasion of privacy;
(h) False or misleading information that could cause public harm;
(i) Any content violating applicable laws of the People's Republic of China or international law.
4. Platform Rights & Content Moderation
(a) The Platform reserves the right to review, reject, or remove any Work at its sole discretion, with or without prior notice;
(b) The Platform may suspend or terminate Author's account for any violation of this Agreement;
(c) Removal of content does not waive the Platform's right to pursue legal remedies;
(d) The Platform shall maintain a record of all content removals, account actions, and related communications.
5. Legal Liability & Indemnification
(a) Author assumes full legal responsibility for all Works submitted;
(b) Author agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Platform, its owners, operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, legal fees, or expenses arising from Author's breach of this Agreement;
(c) If Author's Work causes regulatory investigation, litigation, financial loss, or reputational damage to the Platform, Author shall bear all resulting costs and damages;
(d) The Platform may pursue legal action against Author for intentional or negligent violations.
6. Commission & Payment
(a) Platform charges a 15% commission on all gross sales revenue from Author's Works;
(b) The 15% commission includes payment processing fees, currency conversion costs, applicable taxes, and platform service fees;
(c) Author receives 85% of net processed payments;
(d) Payments to Authors are settled monthly for the preceding calendar month;
(e) Minimum payout threshold: $50 USD;
(f) Author must provide valid payment details (Alipay, Payoneer, or PayPal China) to receive payments;
(g) Platform reserves the right to withhold payments pending investigation of any suspected violation.
7. Intellectual Property
(a) Author retains all copyright and ownership of their Works;
(b) Author grants Platform a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote the Work on the Platform;
(c) Author may remove their Works from the Platform at any time, subject to any pending reader purchases being honored.
8. Termination
(a) Author may terminate this Agreement by deleting their account and removing all Works;
(b) Platform may terminate this Agreement immediately for any violation;
(c) Upon termination, Author remains liable for any pre-termination violations;
(d) Provisions regarding liability, indemnification, and outstanding payments survive termination.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes shall be resolved through the competent courts of Chengdu, Sichuan Province.
10. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Author and Platform. Platform may amend this Agreement with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Platform after amendments constitutes acceptance.
